Alpha is a series of interactive sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith. Each session looks at a different question, and is designed to create conversation. Each Alpha session will start with food, include an engaging and inspiring video talk, and end with a discussion, giving people a chance to share thoughts and ideas about the talk without being corrected or judged. There's no pressure, no follow-up and no charge; just an open, informal, and honest space to explore and discuss life's big questions together.
OUR NEXT ALPHA STARTS FEBRUARY 2018.
Kids are an important part of our church here at APA! We have a dynamic kids program every Sunday during our 10am morning service. It includes games, stories, music and prizes, all designed to engage and disciple kids at their specific age. Our secure check-in/check-out process, requiring a unique security code to remove a child from the program, makes things stress-free for parents and guardians so your kids remain safe and you can enjoy the service! Check-in is available from 9:45am to 10:15am and you can easily find a member of the APA Kids Team by their blue APA Kids shirts and name badges.
Vantage Junior is a ministry specifically designed for students in grades 6-8 that meets every Thursday from 6:30-8:00pm in our North auditorium. At Vantage we understand that middle school students often go through significant changes in their school, home and personal life. We strive to cultivate a space where every pre-teen feels welcome regardless of their age, gender or background. A typical Thursday night includes a chance for new students to be welcomed + win a prize, games, a message from Pastor Angela and snacks up in The Loft. We also have a great team of highly trained adult leaders who help to connect new students, pray for students, and are available to connect with parents.

Each student who walks through the doors can feel welcomed regardless of their age, gender or racial background. A typical Tuesday night usually includes introductions of new students, games, worship, speaking, a response time. Often the women will work toward a project to help a local community group. This year Bloom is focussing on encouraging others through friendship, kindness, compassion, community and caring!
Our Men's Group meets in the Milk + Honey Cafe at APA every Monday at 7:00pm. It's a great place to meet other men from APA, build friendships and grow together spiritually. Often a typical Monday night will include light refreshments, discussion and a sports game on the screen. It is a casual evening, open to all men!
